Here are the banquet notes from JH/JV/V:

Basketball Banquet

Thank you all for being here tonight and for supporting these athletes and the program over the past year.  I want to thank all the coaches on staff, we couldn't do this without every one of them.

We want to recognize our letter winners for JV and Varsity and we have a few awards to present.

JV Letter winners

Our first Varsity Letter winner who provided minutes both in JV and V contests, she improved her all-around game this season Mckenna Lanager

Varsity Letter winner Most Valuable Rebounder w/162 total rebounds 20 offensive & 142 defensive she is an  honorable mention in the progrssland all-star nominations she's a freshman, Hannah Glunt

Varsity Letter winner and Most Valuable Defensive Player, she had 85 total rebounds this year and 58 steals.  She is the one we go to when we need to stop a threat form an opponent  Alyana Winters

Varsity Letter winner and Most Valuable Offensive Player she had a total of 255 points averaging 11.1 ppg, she had a total of 69 offensive rebounds she was named an all-star to the progressland first team and she was nominated to the 2nd team mountain league all-star team as a sophomore Cayleigh Walker

Varsity Letter winner and Foul Shooting Award  with a season average of 79% from the free throw line she was 46-58  She was named an all-star to the second team Progressland Junior Riley Ryen

Varsity Letter winner and the 6th Man Award  she started a number of games for us this year and was always one of the first players off the bench providing quality minutes on both ends of the floor, we're going to miss her energy and attitude Lauryn Kitchen

Varsity Letter winner and Most Valuable Player  totaling 301 points this season averaging 13 ppg  157 rebounds 42 assists 61 steals she was named an all-star to the first team progress land and an all-star to the Second team mountain league all-star team.  She was chosen to play in the D9 D10 all-star game Sunday, April 3 at Clarion, she is our MVP Emma Hipps.

Although he does it quietly, a big thank you to Paul Dietzel for keeping our website up to date w/accurate information, we appreciate all that you do!

Junior High

Sonny Diehl- Offensive Player of the Year

Sonny Played a lot of games this season

For both teams

She was a player who could get us a bucket

when we needed one

If we needed a quick score, a layup or foul

drawn she had the confidence to go get us one

We were lucky to have a player like her on both

teams this season so thank you Sonny and

congratulations!

Mia Helsel- MVP

Was an outstanding leader on and off the court

for both teams.

She led the team at practices and on the court

she led the team in points with 195points

I'm really proud of her and all her hard work

I'm thankful that I got to coach her in my first

year as head coach

Awards

Myleigh Hudson- Most Improved Player

Improved from the first practice to the very last

game of the season

She worked really hard in practice and it

showed.

She really impressed us at the end of this

season, so congratulations Myleigh!

Elia Evilsizor- Coaches Award

Was a team captain

Outstanding leader for us

positive attitude and smile on her face

Never see her without a smile

Has exceptional dance moves as well

Congratulations Elia!

Hailey Miles- Defensive Player of the Year

Was a team captain

Her defense is truly unmatched on the court

If there was a Player on the other team that

needed stopped, We put Hailey on her and she

did just that

Held Bellefonte’s best player to single digits both

games

She always worked hard at practice so thank

you for that Hailey and congratulations!
