In one of the more memorable games to her historic girls’ basketball career, Philipsburg-Osceola’s Halle Herrington poured in 44 points Friday night to ignite an unlikely come-from-behind 70-62 victory over Clearfield.
The Lady Mounties trailed 25-14 after the first quarter before outscoring Clearfield 57-37 over
the final three quarters.
In the second half, Herrington scored 28 points — single-handedly outscoring Clearfield, which wound up with 23 points over the final two quarters.
Kyleigh Kennedy added 12 points in the winning effort, while teammate Lacey Potter added 10.
