Lady Bison Basketball - it's a Family Affair
 
As you read the current roster or looked through the Top-Ten lists you may have seen some familiar names and wondered about the connections.    We document some of them here ~
 
Surely there have to be lots more, so help us out  ~  Please contact us with any additions or corrections.
2010 Grad Amber Byerly's Mom Tammy (Malinich) played back in the 80's.  Amber is now #6 Rebounder (533) while Tammy is #9 (506). They are the only Mother/Daughter combo on any of our All-Time Lists.

Elizabeth Peters (CHS-'10) and Breanna Peters (CHS-'13) are sisters; their uncle Eric Lutz, current Girl's Basketball Coach at Smethport, preceded Coach "C" as Lady Bison Head Coach here in the late 90's

Gwenn Porter (CHS-'10) and Meghan Rich (CHS-'05, on three lists above) are first cousins; Jessica Porter (CHS-'00, all four lists) is Gwenn's second cousin.

2010 Grad
Jayme Ryan (#3 in Treys, #5 Total Games) and Johanna Ryan (CHS-'11) are first cousins.

Madison Sopic's (CHS,'10) older sister Elizabeth (CHS-'07) is #2 All-Time Rebounder. Their younger sister Maggie now plays at C.H.S.

Annie Janocko (CHS-'09) and Mallory Janocko (CHS-'07) are first cousins.

Sisters
Abby Stewart (CHS-'00, #10 in Treys) and Corie Stewart (CHS-'03) are Coach Jerry Stewart's daughters.

Coach Castagnolo's daughter
Margo plays now at Saint Francis and will soon be a Lady Bison.

Sarah (Leitzinger) Proud ('01) played here alongside younger sister Rachel ('03)

Kristen (Aveni) Johnson's ( #1, Rebounds, CHS '04 ) younger sister Emily is now playing at C.H.S.

Brooke Jordan (CHS-'07) and her aunt Erin "Air" Jordan (CHS-'91) were CHS standouts one generation apart.

Amanda Weaver (CHS-'03) played here with younger sister Amber.

#4 Rebounder
Sharon Mc Cartney's (CHS-'88) younger sister Kathy played here several years later, graduating with Michelle Billotte & Erin Jordan. ( Information courtesy Erin Jordan )
