a look at Heindl Memorial Field, Du Bois

Assuming that not all of the Lady Bison players or fans were familiar with Du Bois' new showcase Softball facility
I took a quick trip over the mountain to do a little snooping. The Lady Bison played and won 5-1 there vs. the Karns
City Lady Gremlins May 29, taking the d9 AAA Crown. Their second trip there was on June 3 when they won 4-3 over
Chestnut Ridge in the Opener of the PIAA AAA State Tournament. I'm sure that anyone who was there for either
game will agree that Heindl has to be the nicest field at which the Lady Bison have ever played. Winning there on
their first two trips makes it even more so. Well done, City of Du Bois. Here's a quick tour from May 25 (2019) ~
This picture page and the little note above were posted before the Lady Bison's first trip to Heindl
two years ago. Since then our girls have become real regulars at the place, having participated in two
scrimmages there to start off this year and the d9 Title game last week against Saint Marys.
