The second season of Clearfield Little League
Softball kicked off May 17th ~ see Pictures
.
After a brief opening celebration with introductions of the teams, welcoming of distinguished
guests and ceremonial first pitches the games got under way around noon at C.H.S.
The league now consists of Eleven teams ( up from four last year ) of girls from the ages
of 9 to 12 and is guided by the coaches of the C.A.S.D.'s High School & Middle
School Softball programs, principally Bob Lewis, Fred Redden and Jeff Kavelak
as well as the invaluable help of the players' parents and other volunteers.
Also new this year were two Senior League teams featuring High School players.
