kicked off the
game with the
National Anthem.
Figuring that Emma would be
pretty stingy from the circle,
I decided to get some pictures
of the fielders during warmups
while I had the chance.
Clearfield’s Olivia Bender stands on second base after a stolen
base during the second inning of Tuesday’s d5, 11-12-year-old
Little League All-Star game. Olivia was 1-for-2 with two runs
scored and an RBI in Clearfield’s 12-2 win.
Curwensville’s Marlee Gasper dislodges second base after a steal in
the 3rd inning of Tuesday’s game. Gasper had two stolen bases and
scored a run in the team's 12-2 loss to Clearfield.
Curwensville’s Joslynne Freyer steals second base as Clearfield
shortstop Alexis Bumbarger awaits the throw during the third inning
of Tuesday’s District 5 Little League All-Star game.

VIDEO Here Later
A word about our videos. They're just like chili; better the next day.
After they're uploaded to YouTube, their software keeps working its
magic, improving the clarity and color. When I occasionally look at
videos of games from several years back I'm always surprised at how
much better they are now than when new. Of course, YouTube can't
do anything about me missing a play or bumping the camera, but
come back in a day or two and watch again just to see.
