their life endeavors.

The second of six for the evening . . .
Two years from now when the Class of 2028 is being honored on Senior Night will we hear Bobby G.
announcing "Alyssa plans to attend college this fall with the intention of becoming a chiropractor"?
Of course the big story of the evening was Mia
setting a new school record for three-point
field goals at 173 with several more games
to go. Here she is pictured with previous
record holder Megan Durandetta, CHS '21.
I spoke with Megan shortly after Mia's first
season as a Lady Bison (2022-23) and she
predicted "Mia will break my record." Megan had eclipsed Amanda Swanson's 20-
year-old record in a game at Du Bois Catholic
(here ~ co-officiated by Missy Helsel)
and then set her own record in a loss to Saint
Marys for that year's d9 championship.
(here and see below) Megan played at PSU - Du Bois and Mia will
follow-up by playing at PSU-Behrend.
This is Megan's 169th "3", from March 11, 2021 at Saint Marys.
She is #10 in the lower right corner. Notice that everyone
is wearing Covid masks.
